error installing oracle8 personal edition v8.0.4 in Win ME

gurus,



i'm trying to  install  oracle8 personal edition v8.0.4 in Win Millenium
(ME) edition and i got the ff: error 


 rdbms 80.vrf [855]. unbound variable install_type 
orainst has caused an error in msvcrt.dll



if either one of these error appear, the installation is aborted.



what shall i do?
