Endowments:

Texas A&M: $3.7 billion (1)
Harvard: $18.2 billion (as of June 30, 1999) (2)

That sounds like some of that Texas "fuzzy math". :-)

Another site says that Texas A&M has the 9th largest endowment as of "1998-1999": (3)

Harvard: $14.5 billion
Yale: 7.2
Princeton: 6.4
Stanford: 6.2
MIT: 4.2
Washington U: 3.8
Columbia: 3.6
Penn: 3.2
Texas A&M: 3.1
Northwestern: 3.0
