Home -> Community -> Mailing Lists -> Oracle-L -> RE: Oracle on Linux
I have that configuration at home and it works fine. I've had
no problems worth mentioning with 8.1.6.1 on RH 6.2, despite the
fact that I hacked my linux heavily (kernel 2.2.17, helix-gnome 1.2,
webdb for a HTTP server, GCC 2.95.2 compiler instead of EGCS 1.1.2,
GDB 5.0 to name a few changes I've made)

Does anyone have an experience/advice about this, initially I am thinking of things such as:
