You may need to increase the java_pool_size.

Subject: Problem with export
Hi!
I'm getting a weird error when trying to do a full database export:
ORA-04031: unable to allocate 4032 bytes of shared memory ("shared
pool","oracle
/aurora/rdbms/DbmsJavaSYS","joxlod: in ehe","ioc_allocate_pal")
EXP-00000: Export terminated unsuccessfully
Only about 60% of the shared pool are used, so there should be enough memory available (I hope that it is not that highly fragmented...).
I flushed the shared pool and tried again - but to no avail.
Any ideas?
Thanks,
Helmut
PS: This is 8.1.6.0.0 on AIX
