No, there is no problem in adding redolog member online while user are
using the database.
The status of this member will be stale when created, but it would become valid when you first switch log into this member.

Subject: Adding redo log member
Hi All,
I have a heavy transaction database. I want to add redo log member online while users are using the database.
Is there any problem with doing that?
I just want to double check before I issue alter database ....
Thanks.
