Trace file problem again

Hi DBAs,

Had a problem with the listener again. Got TNS-12203. This time I checked the listener.trc file this morning and it was 264k. Then, just after lunch, it was 2GIGS again! In 3 hours! Jeez! Worse then tribbles! Hmmmm, I wonder if 2gig file size is a limit in NT also? So, I set tracing to off, deleted the file (no time to save it), gotta get the db up. Now, no listener.trc.

Anyone else experience this type of problem? I'm going to go to technet and see if there is any information. Very odd behavior... Received on Tue Jul 18 2000 - 17:50:42 CDT
