One of my devlopers came to me today and asked me if our database was synchronous or asynchronous??? My response was WHAT??? He is stating that Segate Crystal reports is requiring us to be synchronous for us to be able to "cancel" out of a report that Crystal is running. PLEASE don't flame me! I have not a clue as to figure out whether or not the db is synchronous or asynchronous...and boy do I feel ignorant right about now.  We are running 7.3.4.5.2 on Win NT svcpk 5. Anyone have any thoughts?

Thanks In Advance,
Cheers!
