Yes, the 32-bit version of Oracle usually caps the size of the
SGA between 1.3 - 1.6 Gb depending on platform. The norm seems
to be more like 1.4/1.5 Gb. So anything larger than that
requires the 64-bit option. This is even after the base address
for the SGA is relocated.
