As a Canadian who decided to become part of the brain drain and move to the States they do in general make more money here in the States. However, I doubt big cities like Toronto would notice much difference. The big difference comes in the way of tax savings. You would never believe it to listen to some people here but they get it pretty easy in the way of taxes, gas, etc. One of the ways they do not have it better off is Medical but if you are like me and never go to the doctors and have full coverage by your company anyway your dollars go much farther down here in the States.

Ohh,, I was under impression that in US you guys make tons of money working as a DBA. I thought they give you around 70-100 $ / hour...!!!!!!!!
