Even though I'm making almost 50% *more* than 10 years ago, it seems like I'm paying about 50% *less* in taxes compared to back then. Some of that reduction is from having kids, but not all.

Politically, not many people (perhaps the exception being long suffering, over-regulated business people in the "old economy"?) care about lowering taxes more in the USA. That was an issue for when there were big govt. deficits, and the economy was bad. Received on Mon Jul 03 2000 - 14:55:50 CDT
