  We are having a small swapping problem at my site. I now have Solaris = 2.6, Oracle 7, 8 , and 8i on several servers. I want to lock Oracle = down so that it is not chosen to swap. I have tried to lower the SGA = down, but there are several other processes that could be swapped, but = the OS is not.

I have just read about the ISM and USE_ISM (init.ora). Has anyone done = this? I am mostly looking for the ISM configuration for Sun - the = documentation says to refer to your Sun Documentation (Good luck finding = that).

Thanks in advance for your help.

Thanks,
Bryan=20
