Actually, if you care to export a very small table( to make it easier) you can look at the .dmp file with any editor. Once in a while, more for fun than any practical purpose or to save time, I went into it and could change something like the tablespace_name or such thing before IMPorting. Of course you need vi or edt or eve to do this. IMPort is very picky about extraneous stuff in the .dmp file.
