Actually, Tara may be correct in this instance. We did bump into a problem on both 4.5.6.0.7 and 4.5.6.3.3 where using the SAVE command instead of the SAVE AS
eventually corrupted the .fmb and caused a GPF. We believe this has been fixed in
4.5.6.5.5. The main indicator of this problem is abnormally rapid growth of the .fmb, even if changes where small and/or minor.

So, the save before generate may have been your culprit.

All of our .fmb files are stored on a lan server.
