Natural key
From Oracle FAQ
A natural key is a key made from existing attributes - the opposite of a Surrogate key.
Some natural key examples:
- National ID number/ Social Security Number
- Employee's Salary number
- Car registration number
- Publication's ISBN
- City name
- Airport name
