I just stress again, Carlos: I never said only English-speaking was allowed.

That was just Joel's rather sad distortion of what I actually wrote. Which was that mastery of "one's" language is important. Hopefully for obvious reasons: DBAs must listen and communicate well, usually in whatever their native tongue happens to be!

There is no English-only rule at chez Rogers, I can assure you.
