I am looking for any advice/suggestions of the best way to access a SQL Server DB from Oracle. I've communicated with Oracle via a Support Ticket and the solutions they gave me involve using the Oracle Gateway (one free and the other paid). The Oracle DB is being hosted by a vendor and that DB will be talking to one of our SQL DBs on-prem. We already have communication via Oracle DBlinks both from Oracle down to Oracle on-prem and vice versa.

Just checking with this group to see what experiences you might have on how to do this and the pros/cons of various types of solutions.
Thanks!
