Sorry, Stefan is right.

RWP is just talking about the minimum connections = maximum connections = CPU physical cores * 1 - 10 times (connections is the numbers of all of connecting to oracle database server).

For the parameter PROCESSES RWP doesn't mention it. Yes, the oracle background processes should be included on PROCESSES.
