Was this account granted access to a client's CSI and then that CSI was deleted by the client after the contract was over (possibly very long after the contract was over when someone cleaning up didn't recognize you?)

Shot in dark from old memory.

Yup, account definitely deleted. I created it again with the same login details, and it was accepted without question.
