Re: Exadata cleanup trace/logs/aud/etc files anyone?

I can't say I like it . The SR process is a complete wreck.

• Hard disk failure? DIMM failures? Yes to both - much more than you would think a system would ever generate in a year much less in a MONTH. Oracle contacts the primary contact with a new SR that gets assigned to you. Then you have to play middle-man between the organization that controls data center access, and the SR tech and the Dispatch team and field engineer. Cannot adequately express my frustration with this process here without potentially getting bad for profanity.
• SR process to talk to CloudOPs goes something like: Open SR , get assigned to tech , escalate etc but at NO TIME DO YOU GET TO ACTUALLY TALK TO A CLOUDOPS tech. For example: Need info about the Dom0 storage cells --- like an ExaWatcher report? That takes a week.
• Root , /u01, /u02 all undersized tremendously for the sheer amount of logs that gets spewed everywhere.
