That is pretty much what I thought and also validates the fact that I will be spending my week re-installing and reconfiguring the whole thing.
On the plus side... it means that I can document the installation and configuration as I go.

ocr location is written in /var/opt/oracle/ocr.loc
Have a look and see where it is pointing to.
ASM Disks arent problematic since the disk headers contains the Disk metadata so as long as your ASM instance scan the disk string path it will be able to mount them.

In this case, if it were you... would you try to tough it out (which is really cool from a troubleshooting perspective) or opt to rebuild and work forward? Is it worth the effort to try to find all of the places in ASM and OCR and the database where something is going to bite me?
