yes itanium is dfferent as explained here http://www.intel.com/products/server/processors/server/itanium2/ BUt itanium is adifferent chipset it is not part of the 8086 processoer family . it is a 64 bit processing architecture. other than that intel is based on x86 chipset architecture Fernando <fernandoluis_at_mac.com> wrote:
