ahhh shouldn't you use the exp from 9.2 for 9.2 and the exp for 8.1.7 for 8.1.7...??

8.1.7 exports fine. 9.2.0.1 gives an ORA 942.

OK so what am i missing here? which FM do i RT? i thought the 9 would export an 8.1.7 database or am i misunderstanding what i've read?
