Problem is solved. Somehow it seems now to be important to use dbname
case-sensitive in a connectstring. Are there any more flaws, do's and don't
known when migrating to oracle 9 concerning sqlnet?

Onderwerp: connection through oci between 7.3.4 and 9.0.1 fails
Hi,
I'm trying to use an application with oci built on oracle 7.3.4.3 to connect to a different database on 9.0.1.0 (32 bits) I'm not able to login. I can login from the same old environment through sqlplus. Any idea what might be wrong?
Details: old env hp-ux10.20 oracle 7.3.4.3 new env hp-ux 11.11 oracle 9.0.1.0
Tia,
Jeroen
