there are also stupid ones too. I was pointed to a study on a Sybase usenet where they said sybase was 1000% faster than Oracle when you have 250 users and something like 1TB of data.

They contacted oracle and oracle told them to use shared server. The sybase guys thought Oracle was pulling their leg.
