RE: Oracle Untested Infuriator

I think that the install also depends on the network speed that you are using to perform the remote install. We are upgrading our client Oracle to Oracle 8i at our remote locations. The Oracle CDROM has been copied to the remote server and the client maps to the server drive for the install. We remotely take over the distant client and perform the install. The JREW error ocurres a lot but it doesn't seem to effect the install as all of the items are installed and the Oracle client works okay. It appears that the JREW error is because of the time delay from the client to the local work station performing the install. A 56K line really suckksksksks.
