Approximately the same as with Ford and a very reliable car.

Any issues with RedHat and very large databases? I seem to recall Amazon and Oracle are both using RedHat. Are they using RAC? I would like to avoid RAC. This is of course being pitched as a low cost alternative. I also recall some comments about wether or not there is a real savings with Linux. I tend to think the diff in price of OS is usually not that big when you are looking at DB license, storage etc...if you want to still build a reliable system.
