if the entire database is corrupted, it won't open
if you mean block corruption, you can either do an rman backup with verify on (depending on the version of rman you are running) or shutdown the database and do a dbverify on each of the datafiles or do a full export (you can pipe it to /dev/null, all you want is the full table scan that export does).
