Doc-

I heard from more than one Oracle instructor over the years that Tiger was = Scott's cat. Of course, considering the source (snide dig), that doesn't = necessarily make it so! Maybe there never even was a Scott? The truth is = out there...

In various discussions, including ones on this list, I have heard at least = 3
versions about 'tiger':

  1. Scott's cat
  2. His girlfriend's cat
  3. A toy that his son was playing with while Scott was programming.

Now that we have people from Oracle on the list it will be good to have a final answer. It will be interesting to know also something more about = Scott
- at least his full name.

Have a nice Friday and a nice weekend!
