Lisa,
Over the past 4 years we interviewed many a person who claimed, at le=
ast on
their resume, to be "Oracle experts". Some of it is recruiters who re-wr=
ite
resumes for potential candidates in an effort to get that finder's fee (I=
've had
that happen to me from a recruiter I never contacted in the first place. =
He
downloaded my resume from ORACLEDBA.NET & if you can run Oracle, you "mus=
t" be a
SQL*Server guru as well, right??). Some of it is candidates who assume t=
oo much
& want the job too badly, and getting an OCP certificate just because you=
can
pass the tests makes it worse.
Scary, you bet.

We had a new developper 2 months ago, the project leader never does technical interview. The guy was talking about himself as very strong with developper 2000 and pl/sql. He lasts 2.5 days ... =
