probably not a good idea to antagonize the people you're asking help from...
i've never cloned anything myself, but there is a section in the universal installer and opatch guide that says something about it. the procedure does include tarring, but there is also a bit that goes before it. it is in chapter 7.
i am just assuming you wanted to clone the software, but if the database (e.g. the actual data) is to go along with it, i believe that is a different procedure. Received on Fri Mar 20 2009 - 16:36:26 CDT
