Unfortunately I'm running my 11.1.0.6 database on Windows; I don't find 'Smart Scan' in my copy of V$IOFUNCMETRIC. Additionally I do NOT have the following options installed
Real Application Clusters
Oracle Label Security
Oracle Database Vault
Any of those installed in your 11g database?
