There have been VMS boxes (VAX and Alpha) that had uptimes in excess of 5-10 years. I was doing some data-center "moves" of servers and came across a 7.3.3 db that had been up and running for more than 5 years (I believe it was Solaris or HP), but the only reason is stayed up that long is that no one even touched it in that timeframe...
