Not able to up clusterware stack

Hi,

I had 2 node RAC setup at my home using external shared storage with firewire
using OEL4 update 4. [Followed the Jeff. Hunter doc]. Using ocfs + ASM. It was running fine and still i am able to get this up on second note.

But on primary node, Clusterware is not running.

Failure 1 contacting CSS daemon
Cannot communicate with CRS
Cannot communicate with EVM

I checked oracle docs also but could not find much info on troubleshooting of clusterware.They do tell us how to manage/control/ administration.

I noticed my Vip is also not up, I tried to use vipca to fix this but as vipca is a
client application of CRS and it required CRS to be running first.

For logfile locations, I checked on my CRS home/log/alertlyxx.log and as well few other
directories for evmd/ocssd/crsd but could find the way where to start ..

Do we have any other place for logs ...or this the only log where i could not find the appropriate error.

Please guide me where to look for troubleshooting ?
