Hi Daniel,

I was doing this in my own time really (over the weekend) using remote access the hosted servers.
Granted the whole thing may have taken 30 minutes using DBCA but the really good thing about all of this is the fact that I can now build it manually.
I also doubt very much whether it will take me 30 minutes to build the next databse.

In essence all I am trying to say is that if these procedures can be built without the using any of the tools provided where's the harm in having a crack at it manually?
Of course you can still use the tools provided, that's just a matter of choice. At least if you know how to do stuff manually, you still have that choice!
