Almost anything runs on the MSVCRT...DLL of Mickeysoft. Mickeysoft has
a habit of updating this DLL on the fly.
This is why many vendors ship the version they used for development,
to install in their own directory.
Oracle doesn't do this and relies on Mickeysoft.
Look, Oracle had to release a patch when Mickeysoft in NT4 sp3 without
any notice upgraded to from Winsock1 to Winsock2!
There are numerous DLLs in common!
Why do you think the EU has been chasing Mickeysoft to disclose their
APIs?
