Hi All

I have a question about orion test,

The oracle server machine:

CPU: 4 * Intel(R) Xeon(TM) CPU 3.00GHz,
SCSI: scsi0 : Adaptec 29320A-R Ultra320 RAID driver

 Vendor: ADAPTEC   Model: RAID 0            Rev: 1.0
 Type:   Direct-Access                      ANSI SCSI revision: 00
SCSI DISK: 10000rpm 2 DISKs

I use orion test, the following is test result

test command:

[oracle_at_localhost oradata]$ ./orion10.2_linux -run simple -testname
mytest -num_disks 2

[oracle_at_localhost oradata]$ more mytest_iops.csv

Large/Small,      1,      2,      3,      4,      5,      6,
7,      8,      9,     10
          0,    272,    229,    208,    222,    200,    223,
252,    251,    266,    213
          1
          2
          3
          4


Question: Why 10 reads has 213 iops, but 9 reads has 266 iops, is the test result correct? Is it reasonable? Received on Wed Oct 17 2007 - 02:39:21 CDT
