Did your install complete successfully? Usually the listener should be
configured for the database installed. Carry out some simple checks.



Check the registry and see if the ORACLE_HOME is pointing to the right
location. See if there are multiple homes. Did you uninstall and reinstall
 Oracle. That may cause these issues too.
