Taking blind advice from any tool whether it's ADDM and provided by oracle or 3rd party vendors is like walking into a 7 and 11 ( late night one stop mini food mart if that doesn't translate well ) with a sawed off shotgun.
You may end up walking out with a free slurpee but there may be many other bad consequences.
Unforunately ADDM in particular but really all of the automated tuning tools are best used by someone who doesn't particularly need them because they know what's behind the good, mediocre, and bad advice provided. Received on Mon Sep 10 2007 - 16:11:47 CDT
