Get this book =>
http://www.amazon.com/Oracle-Database-Certification-Guide-Handbook/dp/0072257903/ref=pd_bbs_sr_1/105-9899126-6837253?ie=UTF8&s=books&qid=1187765877&sr=8-1 and this one too
http://www.amazon.com/OCP-Oracle-Certification-1Z0-042-1Z0-043/dp/0782143695/ref=pd_bbs_sr_2/105-9899126-6837253?ie=UTF8&s=books&qid=1187765877&sr=8-2

Read both of them through, do the tests at the end of each article and you will be ready for the exam. Oracle book is shorter (although it has all what is needed for the exam). Sybex book goes deeper into details which is also good, if you are planning to be actually using your knowledge some day :)
Questions on OCA are very similar to those in the oracle's book. Tests in Sybex book are sometimes too detailed. No need to remember the exact spelling of spfile parameters and stuff, just need to have a general (but quite deep) understanding of oracle database fundamentals.

Good luck with your exam! And don't mind the other posters, who say to start preparing using Oracle docs, they got to be old and out of their minds, if they can actually use those for anything else but a reference :)
