Please explain what you are trying to accomplish with your
defragmentation action. If you are running on locally managed
tablespaces, your tablespaces won't get fragmented, ever.
Please also note Toad 8.0 is way old. newer versions of Toad (the most
current one is 9.1.0) won't show any fragmentation,as locally managed
tablespaces can't fragment.
Finally the 'fragmentation index' you refer to is a measure Quest made
up. They have a group for Toad in yahoogroups.com. I suggest you
direct your query there, but as far as I am concerned you are wasting
your time.
