you should only need to copy the datafiles because the Oracle installation will have created the Oracle_Home. and the bdump, udump, pfile folders etc (if set)
When moving a database always delete the control files and re-create new ones you may also not want to copy the UNDO tablespace either since you can re-create this on the new machine.
