Now you're back to trying to make a specific technique work, without
stating the business problem that you're trying to solve. You said
that you are trying to get data from the 7.3 db to a 9.2 db. Is this
essentially a one-time move? Daily? Weekly? Does it have to happen
continually, in real time, or can it be done in periodic batches?
What is the business reason for getting the data from the 7.3. to the
9.2? When you supply the answers to these questions someone can
provide some viable solutions.
