What are you trying to do? If you are trying to create a database link
in the Oracle 9.2 database that connects to the Oracle 7.3 database, no,
it won't work, last version that was able to connect to 7.3 was 9.0.1.



If you just have to move data from a 7.3 database to a 9.2 database, why
don't you use the "imp" and "exp" utilities?
