Overview:
The Sr. Oracle Developer will be responsible for architecting the Oracle 10g Business Intelligence platform to support reporting and analytical requirements, designing OLAP solutions, creating reports, ad hoc queries and dashboard environments. This position reports directly to Technical Director and may interface with all levels of employees across the company and will be a key member of the team contributing to software installation, system implementation, upgrades and maintenance, testing and documentation.

Required Skills:
· Master in Computer Science.
· 3+ years experience with Oracle Portal Applications
implementation including BI Beans, PDK development methods. Must have previously worked on some Oracle Portal projects.
· Strong Java skills with Oracle 10g Application Server,
Apache Server, and Portal Applications.
· Experience with the AWM, Oracle OLAP, Discoverer, Reports,
and Forms in the portal environment.
· 3+ years database experience with Oracle 9i and 10g
including installing, deploying, and troubleshooting the 10g Application Server.
· Experienced in creating complex data warehousing reports.
· Strong understanding of security architecture (SSO, row-
level security, policies, etc.)
· Ability to make recommendations for SQL and database
tuning.
· Solid understanding of data warehouse methodologies
(Kimball).
· Detailed knowledge of Oracle 10g BI component architecture,
protocols, application server configurations, and component interdependencies.
· Understanding tradeoffs between implementation, support, and
scalability.
· Complete understanding of optimizing Oracle BI components.
· Must be able to quickly understand functional/non-functional
requirements and architect Oracle component services to support requirements.
· Experience in sizing hardware capacity based on usage
metrics.
