So, in future Sybrand, do your homework before making throw-away, unhelpful comments on this group. Thanks for letting us all know you are a Senior Oracle DBA - congratulations.

Now, if someone else, that has downloaded and successfully installed Oracle XE could link to the forum and post the manual uninstall steps here, I would greatly appreciate it. I am unable to link to the forum as Oracle XE didn't install properly and I can't reinstall without these manual steps.
