Ah... I had forgotten that the v$ views are derivatives of the GV$ views. One of those 'use it or lose it' deals. Following the leads on that quickly took me to the LOG_ARCHIVE_CONFIG parm. Looks like that will be my most reliable indicator of whether or not a given DB is a DataGuard primary. Received on Tue Jan 02 2007 - 07:40:13 CST
