Where is this DR site? The diameter of Earth is approximately 7,926 miles (12,753 km). That would mean the farthest you could get from anywhere on the planet would be 12,753 km/2 = 6,376.5 km.

Geostationary orbit is at approximately 35,786 km. Sounds like your DR site is on a geostationary satellite. An interesting DR solution, with a very unique set of problems all its own ...... Received on Wed Dec 20 2006 - 11:42:41 CST
