dllhost.exe is mostly running with several instances (or processes), this is normal on a Windows webserver with IIS. It has to do with the isolation level of the websites/virtual directories.

Why do you think the dllhost.exe process caused connection problems ? Maybe the problem was (more likely) located on the Windows webserver ?
