match/merge in OWB 10.2

I am new to OWB. I am using OWB client 10.2.0.1.31 on Windows 2K. Oracle Db is 10g.
I have created a mapping with match/merge package provided by OWB. The map is successfully validated and generated,however, i am having problems deploying it. I get warnings:

PLS-00222: no function with name 'VIX_TEST_TIME1_4_SURNAME$1' exists in this scope

I have checked in the repository and the package is there etc - this function (and others) are present in the package body. what do i need to do to be able to deploy this map?
