ok.

i need to move the prdoction to new sever ( and it should be the same patch level. we will be moving to 10g soon .... )

i tried to reinstall oracle :

downloaded :Oracle9i Database Release 2
Enterprise/Standard/Personal/Client Edition for Windows XP 2003/Windows Server 2003 (64-bit)

unzip.

run setup.exe

got immediatly the following error :

"the image file c:\setup.exe is valid, but is for a machine type other then teh current machine"

we are running Windows Server 2003 (64-bit) ....

it should be fine ,,,,, no idea ,,,,
